Thank you for your post on recalibrating your auto leveling system. I have a 2013 Tiffin Phaeton 36GH. The leveling calibration springs are in the same bay as you mentioned, where the hydraulic pump is, however it is on the opposite side of the bay so it looks a little different. However, I figured it out based on the pictures you had in your article. Fortunately, we were experiencing the exact problem that you described in your article: the back left corner always seemed low. So 1/4 turn on the left back spring screw counterclockwise worked perfectly. I pulled all the jacks up and then releveled and wallah! So thank you very much for your article. I learned something very valuable! Happy glamping!

Is there a source that compares all leveling systems with illustrations n how they wrk? We are looking at different class c Tffin’s and there are several possible leveling systems. I want the best mst reliable system. How can you judge this?

In reply to Larry C Pennington. Great, I hope it helps! We found we had to re-calibrate every once in a while, I'm assuming the screws would jostle loose while driving.

Your picture looks identical to my 2012 open road 30GA. The auto leveler is raising the front tires off the ground about 2 inches. I’m sure I can make the corrections with the photo and info provided.

Thank you for taking the time to post this. I have a 2016 36la and have experienced numerous problems with leveling. The manuals that come with the unit do not provide the information you have! I am much more confident that I can resolve this with the information you have provided.

Thanks good information just purchased a preowned 2016 Allegro 34PA and while we were getting our walk through the Tech didn’t have a clue what they were talking about. We have the same system. One said all the lights needed to be on to show it was level. Another said don’t level till all the slides are out exactly what the manual says don’t do.
